| 4 stars Yes! Another fantastic book in the Big Fat Zombie Goldfish series. This is such a fun series to read. Perfect for reluctant readers. The writing is funny, simple, gross, and highly entertaining. The book itself is broken down into two stories, “The Mystery of the Zombie Vacation” and “To Be a Zombie or Not to Be a Zombie… That is the Question”. Both were great reads. The book also includes fun illustrations, which make reading even more enjoyable. While I did read the first book, I think this book could be read without any knowledge of the first book. There is enough explanation and references in this book that the reader can still easily follow the plot without prior knowledge of the characters and story. As with the first, only real downside is the Evil Scientist brother’s use of the world “morons”. Definitely an understandable and relatable use of the word, but not necessarily something you want a kid to start using. Fantastic read. Excited to start the third book. Goodreads |
