A nice collection of My Little Pony adventures, some based on episodes of the show and some new tales. They all center around the Mane 6 and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
The stories based on episodes do a good job of presenting the events from the show. They are paired with shots from the corresponding episode.
The new stories were nice. They act as guides to various places throughout Equestria. Many include letters between the characters. I did enjoy “Welcome to the Everfree Forest!” because it was set up as a guidebook written by the Mane 6.
The stories not based on specific episodes still use shots from the show itself and tie them together with the narrative. This mostly works (except when Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash show up in “Welcome to the Crystal Empire!” when they are supposed to be back in Ponyville. Their coloring is altered but it is clearly a shot from “The Crystal Empire – Part 2”).
Many of the stories are quite wordy, but there are plenty of pictures on each spread.
Overall, a nice collection of stories. Sure to delight young Friendship is Magic fans.
