Same set-up as the first two book. Four stories that feature one (or two) of the Mane Six (Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie) as well as a side character (Iron Will, Spitfire). This one also included a story about Granny Smith and the Flim Flam Brothers, which I enjoyed. As much as I love the Mane Six, sometimes it’s nice to see what the other characters are up to. As with the other books, I prefer the art styles that are similar to the show (Tony Fleecs) and was really thrown off by the artists that used there own style for the characters (Jay Fosgitt’s hardly even look like the characters and it drove me nuts). Good stories, I liked the variety. Overall, another nice collection of stories for Pony fans. |
