This was actually a surprisingly wonderful adaptation of the My Little Pony episode, “The Perfect Pear”. I have found that many picture book adaptations of various shows are too simple or dull or confusing. But this was is perfect. Plus, it is one of my favorite MLP episodes (I’ve always been a sucker for a sad story).

An adorable story about family, love, and forgiveness. Sad, but beautiful.

The illustrations appear to be shots from the actually episode, but they are good quality and don’t have the characteristic fuzzy or blurry quality that many such shots do. They are entertaining and work in collaboration with the text to tell a wonderful story.

Great read. Recommend for all MLP fans.
