A nice, simple PJ Masks adventure.

This is a Ready to Read Level One book, which uses simple stories and sight words. This book also incorporates many catchphrases from the show, which make it more familiar easier to read for young readers.

Story-wise, this one was pretty good. Luna Girl goes to the moon to retrieve the harvest moon crystal, which will make her stronger. The PJ Masks jump in to save the day. Cute story, although the climax was kind of lacking. The PJ Masks all “work together” to stop Luna Girl (no further details given). Then they “save the moon”. The ending felt rushed and vague, which I find is true for the show as well. It was good up until that point though.

Nice read for kids learning to read, especially those who enjoy PJ Masks.
