Despite hardships in his life, Pluie keeps a positive outlook on life and makes the best of his situation. He always looks on the bright side and is rewarded for it in the end.

This is a very positive book. As in Go to Sleep Mom!, I love how the child must compare the words to the pictures. Pluie falls into a fountain, but isn’t upset. Instead he is happy to drink the water. An awesome way for parents to interact with their children while reading.
