Another wonderful volume in The Kids in Mrs. Z’s Class series. The third book follows Poppy Song, who loves baking and spending time with her grandmother.
Poppy can’t wait for her grandmother, Po Po, to be the Valued Visitor in Mrs. Z’s class. But when Po Po starts acting differently, Poppy worries whether her grandmother is okay.
Fantastically written. Engaging and well-paced. Wonderfully works in memory loss issues in a realistic, touching, and relatable way.
I love how Poppy was able to handle the difficult situations she encountered through open communication and asking for help.
Great grayscale illustrations that pair well with the text.
I love the concept of this series and the books really deliver. Another great read in a fantastic series.
