J.K. Rowling did a very good job of making this book read like an actual history book. Unfortunately, because of this, it is a bit dry at times. It’s an interesting book, but it can be a little dull. Each chapter is pretty short though and the book moves quickly.
I really like the whole backstory of this being a library book. It added an extra dimension to it, similar to how Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them allows a glimpse into the minds of Harry and his friends with all their commentary.
Overall a cool book filled with lots of information from the origin of flying broomsticks and other broom games to various Quidditch teams and the evolution of the racing broom.
