A nice, upbeat chapter book about working together, helping others, and what it means to be awesome. When she learns her grandparents will have to move from their home, Sarai Gonzalez uses her skills in baking, dance, and problem-solving to help them.
I loved how empowering and positive the story is. Nice realistic ending that helps readers see a more nuanced approach to life.
Great black-and-white illustrations that pair nicely with the text.
Nice themes of helping others, community, entrepreneurship, family, and admitting mistakes.
Empowering, joyful, and fun. I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to reading more in the series.
