A sweet, lyrical book about remembering those you’ve lost and their continuing love.
Nice rhymes. The text works well for talking about belief in an afterlife and different ways to connect to loved ones after they’re gone such as writing letters to them or singing their favorite songs.
The illustrations show the relationships between parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, and children and their dogs. I enjoyed the diversity of the characters included. The illustrations themselves are bright, energetic, and beautiful. They focus on the happiness of remembering loved ones and moments shared.
A comforting read that portrays peace after loss.
