This is an adorable book about sharing. While I don’t think children should always be required to share treats with their friends, I like the progression of the book and the points Gerald makes (Piggie loves ice cream, Piggie will like this flavor, what if Piggie is sad right now- this will cheer her up). A great way to show kids how easy it is to think of one’s friends and how one’s actions make friends feel.

As always, cute illustrations will lots of fun facial expressions and word bubbles.

While the twist was a bit predictable, it was still enjoyable.
