An adorable story about a young medium coming into her powers and the fight to save a neighborhood.
When Adèle starts seeing ghosts, she doesn’t know what to think. Until her family reveals they come from a long line of mediums. Her grandmother advises her not to interact with the ghosts, but they can be rather… persistent. Adèle soon learns that their goals may not be as different as she originally thought.
A delightful cast of characters made up of a reluctant young medium, an activist grandmother working to stop the neighborhood from being turned into condos, and a supportive non-medium sister along for the ride. It was fun meeting all the different ghosts and learn how they interact and navigate the city.
Deals with tough topics such as gentrification with the perfect amount of humor to balance it out.
An engaging story. Lovely art style. This was such a cool read.
