The same hilarious story I loved growing up, now in full color. It was fantastic to re-read this book with vibrant color added to each page. I adored this series as a kid and still do as an adult. Fun, humorous, exciting, and just gross enough for a good laugh. Potty humor at its finest.
I also enjoyed “The Origin of Captain Underpants” at the end, which is a little mini story about how Pilkey came up with the idea and started making his own comic books.
A great book for reluctant readers and those of us who need the kind of hero in our lives who is “faster than a speeding waistband, more powerful than boxer shorts, and able to leap tall buildings without getting a wedgie”. Loved it.
