| Nice adaption of The Emoji Movie from Jailbreak’s perspective. This goes through the basic plot of the movie (including the ending) so this is one of those rare times when it is best to watch the movie first. I did like the focus on Jailbreak. I love her character and it was interesting to get a little more detail on her backstory. I also really liked the illustration style. The cartooniness was different from the movie, but it worked well in the book and the illustrations went well with the text. Overall, a good book for fans of Jailbreak and The Emoji Movie. |
