Another eerie and intriguing volume in the series. When we last left Shiva and Teacher, a strange new Outsider had touched Shiva, cursing her; and those within the Inside had seen a girl in the forest and viewed her as a threat. Now the unexpected duo must face challenges from both the Inside and the Outside, leaving them with more questions than answers.
As with the first volume, the artwork is wonderful. Haunting yet sweet.
The story is dark with little snippets of light and joy. I absolutely adore Shiva and the ever-protective Teacher.
Will definitely be continuing this series.
