Such a sweet story. What Noah wants more than anything is long hair. But he isn’t sure if he can ask for it. Most of the boys and men in his life have short hair. Will he get the courage to ask to grow out his hair in time for his birthday haircut?
Wonderfully written. The ending was so touching. I love how supportive Noah’s family is.
Beautifully illustrated.
At the end of the book is a Conversation Starters section, which includes questions to discuss with children about gender expression through hair and accessories.
A delightful story about being yourself, the power of representation, and supporting those you love.
