Delightfully creepy. Perfectly macabre. As with many macabre stories, while reading this I often found myself wanting more information, to know what happened after the end. But the unknown has a special place is each of these tales, which adds to their unsettling charm.
Great artwork that wonderfully captures the tone of the stories themselves. Each tale has its own art style that pairs perfectly with its voice.
My personal favorites in the collection were “Our Neighbor’s House” and “A Lady’s Hands Are Cold”, but each has a special place in my dark heart.
This collection has ensnared me. Looking forward to reading more from Carroll.
