I have been meaning to start watching Tumble Leaf, but I keep getting caught up in other shows. I work with a kid who enjoys the show so I picked this up from the library to read with him.
This is such a cute book. It is based on the episode, “Things that Go Gourd in the Night” and I found it to be a nice adaptation. While the pictures are taken directly from the show, they are presented in interesting ways such as with stick borders, on boards hanging by twine, bordered by quilt stitches, and on clotheslines. Great presentation that really adds another dimension to the layouts.
I really enjoyed the fun mystery story as well and the silly ending. Great book. It makes me want to watch the show even more.
