An adorable rhyming story providing a kid-friendly introduction to the history of Pride and its continued relevance today.

Loved the themes of family, acceptance, standing up to injustice, and being yourself. Adorable pictures.

The rhymes are a little clunky in areas, but overall this was such a sweet read.

I also loved that the endpapers featured queer icons such as Billie Jean King, Jonathan van Ness, Freddie Mercury, and Dan Levy. I do wish there was a list of those included to add more teaching moments, because there were plenty of historical ones I didn’t know by name.

A nice read for celebrating Pride all year long.
