| Cute book. I have not seen Smallfoot in its entirety yet, but have a basic knowledge of the plot from seeing bits and pieces of it. I really liked the illustrations in this book. They are much more cartoon-y than the actual film, but I found them fun and appealing. The book sums up Migo’s meeting with Percy in an easy-to-understand style. There are a few inconsistencies between the book and the movie (Percy flies a helicopter in the book and an airplane in the movie), but the main ideas are there. This is a Level Two reader with longer sentences. The illustrations go well with the text for reading aids. Overall, a nice book for fans of the movie. Goodreads |
