Cute follow-up to the first book. This one sees the trio of Glitter Dragons back in the Magic Forest, using their smarts and bravery to go up against the Shadow Sprites. This time, we follow the water-loving Willa as she gains the confidence to clean up the forest’s waterways.
As with the first book, there is plenty of adventure and problem-solving. The story is quick paced. I didn’t find the writing very engaging personally, but I do think young readers will enjoy the action and magic.
The book includes themes of friendship, facing fears, and helping others. Good for those who enjoy magic and dragons, especially with plenty of glitter and sparkles.
