A breathtaking read full of mystery, magic, and secrets. Coco has always been fascinated by magic. When she discovers the secret to casting spells, she tries to teach herself. But her attempts result in a devastating mistake. To set things right, she becomes a witch’s apprentice and dives headfirst into the world of magic.
Every page of this book is gorgeous. I especially loved the stunning woodcut-style landscapes and backgrounds. Such amazing detail. The anime style brings a nice bit of humor with the over-the-top reactions.
The story itself sweeps the reader off their feet. A great cast of characters. The dialog and artwork work wonderfully together. Beautiful worldbuilding. I loved this book.
A well-rounded story that is simply beautiful. Already looking forward to reading the next book.
