More of a mash up of Frankenstein and Pinocchio. Interesting retelling with a predictable ending. As with Zombie Cinderella, the idea of a ‘rational’ zombie was a little strange for me. A zombie that can torture and plan instead of feasting on the closest food source seems a little out of character for my conception of zombies. Very detailed with some truly gruesome descriptions. Overall, a good idea with excellent narration, but only a so-so plot.
